Contact info@lampsandplants.co.uk for help.
2. Cancelling before dispatch
You may cancel a standard order before dispatch without charge.
If we have taken payment, we will refund it within 14 days of receiving your cancellation. If there is only an outstanding payment authorisation, we will arrange for it to be cancelled. Your bank determines when released funds become available.
Different cancellation rules apply to qualifying bespoke orders, as explained below.
3. Changing your mind
For eligible products bought online, you can cancel without giving a reason up to 14 days after the day you receive them. Where products from a single order arrive separately, the cancellation period generally runs from receipt of the last item.
Email info@lampsandplants.co.uk or write to our address below, clearly stating that you wish to cancel. Include your name and order details so we can identify your purchase.
You must send the products back within 14 days after notifying us. You do not need to wait for our approval to exercise your statutory cancellation right.
You may inspect the products as you would in a shop. Where the law permits, we may deduct an amount for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Please return all supplied parts and accessories and package the products securely. Use the original packaging where possible, although this is not a condition of your statutory cancellation right.
4. Bespoke Chloro orders
Where Chloro is made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised and qualifies for the statutory cancellation exception, the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply.
We will explain this before accepting your order. Once a qualifying bespoke order has been accepted, we do not offer change-of-mind returns or refunds.
This exception does not apply merely because a product is assembled to order or chosen from standard options where the law still provides a cancellation right.
Your rights remain unaffected if a bespoke product is faulty, unsafe, not as described, does not match the agreed specification, or where you otherwise have a legal right to cancel.
5. Return postage
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning products when you change your mind. We will make this clear before you order. Where a product cannot normally be returned by post, we will provide the return cost or a reasonable estimate before purchase.
Please retain proof of postage.
For faulty or incorrectly supplied products, we will arrange return or collection, or cover reasonable return costs where required by law. Contact us so we can agree a suitable method.
6. Refunds
For eligible change-of-mind cancellations, we will refund the product price and the standard outbound delivery charge, where applicable. Any extra amount paid for an upgraded delivery service is not refundable under the statutory cancellation right.
We may withhold the refund until we receive the products back or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever happens first. We will issue the refund within 14 days of that point.
Refunds are made to the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We do not charge a refund or restocking fee. Any lawful deduction for diminished value will be explained.
Your payment provider may take additional time to show the refund in your account.
Refunds for faulty goods are handled within the applicable statutory deadlines.
7. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
If your product arrives damaged, develops a fault or is not what you ordered, contact info@lampsandplants.co.uk with your order details and a description of the problem. Photographs may help us assess it, where available.
Stop using any product that appears electrically unsafe.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction. We will provide any remedy required by law without charge.
These rights apply to lamps, LED grow bulbs, smart plugs, accessories and bespoke products purchased from us.
8. Two-year warranty
High Rise Farming LTD provides a two-year warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects in products purchased from us, including third-party branded products.
For a covered defect, we will arrange a repair or replacement without charge, including necessary parts, labour and reasonable return or collection costs. If neither repair nor replacement is available, we will offer an appropriate refund. This does not limit any statutory right you have to a particular remedy.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accidents, misuse, failure to follow the supplied instructions, or unauthorised repairs or modifications. These exclusions apply only where they caused the problem being claimed for. Following instructions to replace a user-replaceable part does not itself invalidate the warranty.
To make a claim, contact info@lampsandplants.co.uk with your order number or other proof of purchase and details of the fault.
This warranty is provided by High Rise Farming LTD, Unit 1, Ozdil House, River Way, Harlow, Essex, CM20 2DR, United Kingdom, and applies to products we deliver to our advertised delivery destinations.
The warranty is additional to your statutory rights and does not replace or restrict them. Your statutory rights may continue after the two-year warranty expires. You do not have to claim against a manufacturer instead of contacting us.
9. Repairs and replacement parts
For repair enquiries, contact us with the product name and details of the problem. We will explain the available options and any applicable costs before you agree to paid work.
Only replace parts yourself where the product instructions expressly permit it. Do not open sealed driver housings or carry out electrical repairs yourself.
